September 25th marks the launch of the Open Education Europa portal!
The European Commission is announcing the inauguration of the Opening up Education Initiative, which includes the new Open Education Europa portal. The Initiative aims to stimulate high-quality, innovative ways of teaching and learning through digital technologies and content.
The announcement takes place today in Brussels, presented by Neelie Kroes, Vice-President responsible for the Digital Agenda, and Androulla Vassiliou, Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth.
