Are MOOCs providing the European workforce with necessary web skills? That is the key question being explored at this upcoming one-day event taking place in Helsinki on November 17th, part of the StartupEurope initiative.

Experts from educational institutions, multinational companies, MOOC providers and MOOC platforms will be heading to Finland for the conference, where they will discuss the role MOOCs can have in training web entrepreneurs, whilst also exploring ways to move the MOOCs for Web Talent Network forward.

The event will be taking place at Aalto University’s Arabia Campus from 9:30 to 5pm EET (GMT+2). The address is Hämeentie 135 C, Helsinki. The C door is the main entrance in the middle of the long building and the rooms where the event will be taking place are 6036 A and B on the 6th floor.

The event will feature a presentation of the project findings, a keynote by FutureLearn's Matt Walton, followed by a panel discussion and a MOOC design workshop. Participants will have ample time to ask questions, share their experiences, and have their say in the discussion.
