Users? Partners? Consumers? Peers? How are learner and teacher roles evolving and where are we headed? The call for contributions for the EDEN Conference in Leuven, Belgium - "Learners in the Driving Seat" - has been extended to September 25th. Take part and discover the conference themes by submitting your experience!

Learners in the Driving Seat is a workshop about effective learning experiences that will be hosted by the University of Leuven on October 22-23, 2012. The event will revolve around how students are increasingly driving teachers, and on instructors in fields where new learning technologies play an important role. Student-centred learning is high on the agenda. But there are still higher education contexts that represent a real challenge to this approach, even with the support of ICT. EDEN intends to bring together speakers who can share their different points of view on the Workshop Themes and Workshop Scope. Professionals are invited to make submissions, in various formats, ranging from paper presentations, to workshops, posters, and demostrations.  The deadline for contributions is 25 September 2012. For more information on submission guidelines, please refer to the conference website
